History

Chef Erik Borger is the creative restauranteur behind Ostrea—a high-class oyster bar and seafood restaurant in Kansas City and Saint Joseph, Missouri.

Design Inspiration

The illustrated ‘O’ is organic and fluid. The hand-drawn lines are flowing and elegant while the geometry of the spiral is refined and elegant. There’s a balance between restrained precision and natural flowing elements reflective of an oyster, muscle, or other mollusks and sea creatures. This is one of Ashley’s favorite logos. The illustration was challenging and time-consuming yet fun and rewarding.
