On Friday, September 29, 2023, at the Awards Dinner & Live Auction in Corpus Christi, Texas, the Mountain-Plains Museums Association (MPMA) awarded Bone Creek Museum of Agrarian Art first place in the Publication Design Competition for Brochures & Rack Cards, Invitation, Development of a Promotional Package, Magazines, Newsletters, Quarterly or Biannual Publications.
The submitted entries included the Farm Island Anthology exhibition catalog, the 2023 Membership Brochure, and the March 2023 Newsletter designed by Ashley Cameron of West Des Moines, IA.

History
Ashley has worked with Bone Creek Museum since 2010. They are the nation’s only exclusively agrarian art museum presenting art that connects people to the land. Exhibitions and related events such as artist talks, panel discussions, art workshops, poetry readings, humanities presentations, and musical performances celebrate the heritage and current themes of rural and farm life. David City is the hometown of nationally recognized Regionalist artist Dale Nichols whose work is the heart of the permanent collection.
