This weekend was an incredible opportunity and several firsts (visiting California, flying out for a client event, traveling alone, and using Uber). Sincere thanks to Avery Ma for his connection to work with Hybrid Apparel in Cypress, CA and the marketing team on their first clothing line launch, Love Tribe apparel, which is exclusively sold at Macy’s. This first collection was a collaboration with Disney, inspired by Disney Princess, and ambassador Laura Marano. The launch party was at Macy’s South Coast Plaza in Costa Mesa.

Over 300 excited fans and 150+ live viewers tuned in from around the world for the launch party. There were giveways, a meet & greet line for Laura, models wearing the cute clothes, a VIP lounge with champagne and hors d’oeuvres, music and photographers, and a Q&A with press following.
There is an unbelievable amount of work that went into making this new brand and clothing line come to fruition. The LoveTribe brand is evolving and being refined with updates soon to come to the website and brand pages. The next collection is in the works for June, so stay tuned! Here are some fun photo ops from the event with Avery and Laura.
The dress I’m wearing is courtesy of two wonderful and sweet friends, Lesley & Danelle, who completely surprised me by ordering a couple of dresses and shoes. Life has a fun way of connecting people. Danelle and her family live in San Clemente, just 30 miles south of Orange County, so I had an especially great time getting to stay with them and visit their Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory / U-Swirl Frozen Yogurt San Clemente at the Outlets in San Clemente, CA. Yes, of course, I had to bring home tasty souvenirs!
The trip was complemented with amazing food from Ellie’s Table, some of the best coffee from Bear Coast Coffee (beautiful branding), Blaze Pizza and getting to walk out on the pier and watch the surfers. Until next time, see you later CA!
