How to Add a Comma After Data in Excel

Let’s look at a simple formula to help you add a comma after (or before) data in Excel.

For example, to add a comma to the end of data in cell A2, the formula would be:

=A2&”, “

This adds a comma and space. You can add any character between the quotation marks.
